To the Tiny Caf where the students feast
The girls all came from their humble rooms
Polishing up all the plastic spoons

(Tumpy and Gail already high)
The cast included Sue Ann,

From Blair and Nat, to Cindy, athlete
The Eastland teachers were about to arrive
With their vocal group, 'The Mahoney Five'

They played the mash

Out from his office, Crock's voice did ring
Seems he was troubled by just one thing
He opened the door, shook his fist and say
"Whatever happened to my Shakespearean play?

Now everything's cool, Crock's a part of the band

Of course I had to include all the Lost Girls!

I had originally wanted Mr. Bradley in the song, but The Crock fit the song much better, what with him insisting on them reciting his play. It could only have been Mr. Bradley if he insisted the girls write a poem, take an exam, conduct a genealogy project, or run a race.

I LOVE the imagery of long lost Lost Girl Molly rising up from her basement dwelling to do The Eastland Mash!

Although on one hand, from the title of this thread, I was so giddy it was a spoof all about Molly since it's called "The Molly Mash", but in the thread it's actually "The Eastland Mash". True it does begin with Molly for the first verse/chorus/verse, I just expected her to "carry" the whole thing, lol. But it is fun to see it branch out into more good ol' vintage Eastlandness.

It's so hard to single out favorite parts because it's such a winning piece!!

Fantastic!!

And don't forget to "tell them Molly sent you"!
