Hi!
I read that GSN uses "time compression" on most of their shows to accomodate more commercials. Does this mean that they edit out content that was in the original run, or do they just "speed up" the shows? For those of you with GSN, do you notice this difference? Jack |

Yes, they do. Most of the time, it is barely noticeable, but at other times you notice things like sped-up music, and hosts and announcers talking so fast that it almost makes your head spin. I'ts never really bothered me, but I know some people that absolutely cannot stand it.

I notice the speed up A LOT during Family Feud. The music all of a sudden gets real fast, then goes back to normal right away. They also like to speed Richard up right before he reads the question, but then it goes back to normal. It's a bit tiring.

I got a question: When Paul Lynde says one of his funnies on Classic Squares, he luaghs right away. Is that speed up or does he laugh right after the joke?
