Didn't see a thread discussing the segment featuring overall lowlife scumbag Lester Eubanks, so I created this one. I haven't watched the 6th episode of the 2nd release of episodes yet, but this one was definitely my favorite of the new episodes. I stumbled onto this link today, which says that authorities do believe he is still alive and that they are "getting close".

I just noticed that Lester Eubanks looks remarkably similar to the composite sketch of the 2nd assailant in the bowling alley massacre case. It's possible he might have been pretending to have a slight Spanish accent as a poor-man's method of concealing his identity.
I strongly believe he is still in the states if he is still alive, as he doesn't seem like the kind who would have the resources or connections to live on the lam abroad. He may have ended up in prison under a different name (before the lack of an escapee arrest warrant was probably disseminated throughout the country), he might be deceased either on the lam or died in prison under an alias, or he may still be alive. It came as a surprise to me that James Bulger was captured alive at such an old age, so it's possible Lester Eubanks could still be caught. |

Just saw this LE episode. What a scum-bag, who committed the worst kind of crime - the murder of an innocent child who had her whole life ahead of her.
Incredible that a prisoner that had formerly been on death row for a heinous murder of a child was allowed to Christmas shop at a mall - unsupervised - years later. Not only could he obviously escape, but he also had access to situations that could allow him to commit the same kind of crime(s) again. Wow. What incompetence & negligence on the part of the authorities here. If this guy is still alive (and he may be), hopefully he'll get caught soon. If he's passed on, hopefully the authorities will find that out & the family of the victim may get some closure. |

Was happy to see this case featured. This dude deserves (at the very least) to be locked-up forever. Moreover, he does not seem like the type to live a quiet, peaceful life after all these years. He may very well have assaulted or killed another person
![]() Not a lot of leads, unfortunately, but hopefully with him just being on UM that could help. |
