I like the earlier episodes with Rochester, but for some reason he wasn't in many if any of the 60s episodes.

Well, just off the top of my head 2 come to mind. One when Jack goes down into his vault, crosses the moat and talks to Charlie (Joe Kearns) who's been down there for decades guarding the door. The second is when Jack and his girlfriend see Jimmy Stewart and his wife eating lunch in a restaurant and they invite themselves to sit down with Jimmy and eat. It's a funny scene.

Every Jack Benny show was a funny one. He was a comedy master. If you've never heard his radio shows you really should. Especially those from 1946 thru the early '50's, those radio shows are even funnier than the TV shows.

This is the Income Tax episode, right? It's hilarious. My favorite is with Raymond Burr, as Perry Mason defending Jack for murder.

A lot of Jack's shows anticipated Seinfeld shows about nothing: Jack goes grocery shopping, Jack goes to the train station. He'd run into persistent irritants like Frank Nelson and Mel Blanc. And especially on radio, Sheldon Leonard as "The Tout."

YES Raymond Burr is hilarious in the episode where he defends Jack for murdering a Rooster !

2 more just occurred to me, when Don invites Jack and the gang to his house for dinner without checking with Don's wife first. When they get there Don has a hard time letting them all in and Jack keeps repeating to everyone else, "I told him a 1000 times, check with the little woman first." The other is the classic when Jack's being robbed and the robber pointing a gun at Jack says "Your money or your life. Silence from Jack. Robber says, "Well???" Jack: "I'm thinking it over."

Lol, I remember that, although I have a feeling the vault appeared in more than one episode. I was pretty young when I first saw most of the episodes that I've seen (I haven't seen the whole run), and the moat made a big impression on me as a youngster, it was so funny.

Just this morning I saw the episode with Peter, Paul, and Mary, and he was trying to pitch them his song "When You Say I Beg Your Pardon". I also remembered that from when I was a kid (they used it more than once), and I couldn't help chuckling over it as the day has gone on.
