I know METV is doing some ridiculous version of WOKE but could someone explain this, ME just concluded the run of season 7 episodes cycling back to what I thought would be season 1 episode 1, instead ME jumped to season 1 episode 5. Now I haven't seen these episodes in years (frankly I don't remember much about them), what could possibly be the reason they would need to be skipped?
Posted on 10/23/20 from Duster76: In the words of Emily Litella, "never mind"! Looks like METV just went out of order, the first two episodes of the series are scheduled for tomorrow 10/24 (I'll be taping, haven't seen the early episodes in years). |

could it be because that they only have access to certain eps because the show is already being aired on Decades TV everyday, and RetroTv?..I've noticed that too btw..

Season 1 episode 1 ("Spur Line to the Shady Rest") is now in the public domain, among others like "Please Buy My Violets" (S1 ep 6) and "Bobbie Jo and the Beatnik" (S1 ep 16). I don't see why Ep. 1 would have to be skipped.

MeTV showed the first episode.
What happened was this: MeTV shows two episodes per week, back-to-back, early on Saturday mornings. The final episode aired at 5:00 one week. Rather than have the first four episodes (which are serialized) air over three weeks, they decided to show episode 5 right after the final episode. That way, the first two episodes aired the following week, and episodes 3 and 4 aired together the week after that. |
