This is just something I thought of today. And I have one which I'll post. And I bet there's others but I can't think of any more at the moment but I'm sure I will. And I'm wondering if anybody else can come up with some.

The one I thought of today is Gavin Macleod. He played Murray Slaughter on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and then Merrill Stubing on The Love Boat. Both characters initials are M.S. I don't know why that popped into my head today but I thought it would make for an interesting discussion.

Ed. ETA: I just wanted to clarify I wanted to primarily discuss actors/actresses and their roles on sitcoms. But we can include actors in dramas too.

Lucy Carmichael, Lucy Carter (The Lucy Show, Here's Lucy)

Bob Collins, Bob Carson (Love That Bob, The New Bob Cummings Show)

Andy Taylor, Andy Thompson (The Andy Griffith Show, Headmaster)
