I haven't had a pc in 6 weeks

Basically my cat decided to drop my water on my laptop so I couldn't access. I have a new computer so I am back.

Thanks. I have a dog too but she's too big to knock over my water glass. I had a tablet but hard to do a lot with it.

Thanks everyone. It was difficult and never realized how much we depend on technology. On the other hand it gave me a chance to clean out my bedroom and bathroom for items for the local garage sale for the school. They will be receiving about 5 boxes of books, 4 bags of clothes, several boxes of movies and that's just for a start.

Yes. That is the thing with the internet! Before I had a home computer (or cell phone) my house was a lot neater and I was a lot thinner ( used to work out more and do more housework! Now I spend too much time online ) !

Same here. Before the internet my activity was working out and now I spend too many hours online. I'm trying to limit my online though because I find I am happier when I do.

Thanks. I had planned a break to do a few things I had to do and return but once my pc broke that was the end of that.

Nice to have you back. I have a tablet too that I use mostly for reading online books & playing a few games. I'd rather use my desktop computer, it's faster. Did you get a desktop or laptop after the water incident with your cat?

Same here. I'm also taking classes online, like javascript. Without online I read more. In fact a few months ago I went through all the books I had and read them all and am donating most to the school for a garage sale.

Thanks. I got a laptop and so far so good. Yeah I use mt tablets mostly for nothing seriously. I state tablets because I have three (and used to have five) but there's a reason. My first tablet I got for Christmas many years ago and my mom liked it so well she bought one, both are Amazon Fire. I have both because she passed afterwards. I then got a Google Home and I couldn't use Amazon Fire so bought a Galaxy that works for it. However I thought it stopped working so I bought a duplicate but once it started working gave the duplicate to my dad. The last tablet I bought thinking it would work on my Google (this is before the Galaxy) but it didn't work much for anything except games.
