If the Bradys have water and ice dispensers in the door of their refrigerator, why would Carol use ice cube trays in "The Treasure of Sierra Avenue"?

I think it was just for show because I don't ever remember them using it.

With Carol and the ice cube tray, I think it was supposed to be funny and it was too.

The ice dispenser being broken is actually pretty realistic. They had 9 people using it. Probably got a lot of wear and tear. And it was relatively new to have a dispenser like that back then - they probably weren’t that durable.
