There was a Mini Get Together with Bernadette Stanis and Jimmie Walker, and.... She looked 40, and he looked 65 despite him being only 6 years older than her! O.O. I was shocked at how much older he looked than her despite only being 6 years older!

He should do like Older black actors such as John Amos (James) or Demond Wilson (Lamont) do. Grow a mustache or goatee, get some fancy glasses and a hat. And you look hip again

I always thought JJ looked a lot older than Thelma even when they were young !

He is 6 years older than Bernadette Stanis. I remember on Amazon a GT Fan said they were shocked that Jimmie Walker and Bernadette Stanis were playing Teenagers when Jimmie was 27 and Bernadette was 21 in the first Season. But in the very first Season, they looked really young for their ages. Jimmie looked about 17 and Bernadette looked about 16. In the final Seasons, when JJ should have looked about 24, he looked to be in his 30's. VERY late 20's at the most.
