Red face 'Friends' is boring

I guess it doesn't appeal to universal audiences partly due to bad acting. Especially Jennifer Aniston is very boring sometimes. It is very hard to laugh at her jokes. Her acting is very bad. Possibly the worst of all. But for guest characters like Reese witherspoon, Bruce willis, Ben Stiller, Winona Ryder,Brad Pitt Friends would have been a total failure mainly because the jokes are very ordinary. I am an Asian. I prefer watching Everybody Loves Raymond because all of them act well. That is much more believable. People from any country will like it. Stupidity of Phoebe and Joey is unbelievable. Courtney Cox can be irriating at times. I think i have never seen an episode where all could act with flair.

I don't think so. I just started watching Friends last season and this season I became hooked. I part asian and part white and find the jokes very good. Although I don't understand what your ethnicity has to do with the show. I can't comment on Everybody Loves Raymond since I haven't watched a full episode but I think Friends is pretty good. And the acting isn't that bad, I personally think Jennifer is the best actor in Friends and Matthew is the worst actor in Friends.

I know that this board is suppose to be for peoples opinions but what I don't understand is why you're coming here to leave bad feedback about an amazing show. I find the fact that FRIENDS has made it to the 9th season and HASNT been cancelled amazing seeing that in your eyes everyones acting on that show is horrible. The fact that no one has replied to this about how great their acting truley is is even more disturbing. Don't we all come to this board to support the show?

Even though I only watch it every so often, and mostly the
syndicated reruns, when I do watch I can't help laughing since
FRIENDS is one of the funniest sitcoms now on tv.

I just think, you should not quote things like that, because here we are on a Friends board and I think everybody who comes to this place like Friends, otherwise it's a stupid thing to come here. Some who don't like the show should not be quoted! They can say their opinion and than we can ignore them.

I can quote whomever I choose, because in my opinion they should not come to this board and post feedback about a show they don't like.

I think the problem is with the writing, and not so much the acting. This series has clearly run it's course, the series should have ended after Monica and Chandler's wedding, I think that would have been the best time to have ended it. But now, despite the ratings, one can see that the series is clearly hanging on. A series should end with people still wanting more, but I do not think that is how this series will end.

Matthew Perry or Matthew LeBlanc? I think David Schwimmer is the worse actor in Friends. His acting stinks! I hope Rachel goes to Joey this season. They would make a great couple!

Then they don't have very good taste in shows because Matthew is one of the best actors on the show. Plus he is the only male star from Friends to make the best comedy movies. Has Matt LeBlanc played in anything besides Lost In Space?

Oh sorry I forgot to put the last name on that. I was talking about Matthew Perry. Every time I see him act in anything I feel so embarrassed for him. For being such an awful actor. But I think LeBlanc is a great actor.

Man you have no taste in good actors do you? Matthew is really funny, I hope he wins the emmy nomination this year. He deserves it! Was Matt also nominated? Anyways everyone but David Schwimmer deserves an award for the great acting they did this year on Friends. Although they could use tips on how to make delivering a baby more believable!

I do like Matthew Perry a lot! I think he's a wonderful actor and he is looking great in the moment!
I admire him also for what he had said in the interview with Larry King this week!

are you crazy? David Schwimmer is a really great actor. They all are. I couldnt just say whos the better actor. You people are all so cruel and mean for Ross when hes one of the better characters on. He does such a good job on the show. Speaking of Everybody Love Raymond.... man those people cant act. they are all really annoying. ok well thats all i wanted to say.. but the whole cast of friends is great. Oh and by the way.... Friends has probably the best writing than any other sitcom out there currently.
