Two episodes of the show 35 - The Rivals and 81- Health Club, feature the music of Prince. I must give whoever is responsible credit of playing Prince's music on a family show. Do you suppose any members of the cast were a fan of Prince. If I had to pick one, my guess would be Todd. I know Janet Jackson is a fan of Prince but The Rivals came before she appeared on the show.
Of course I would really credit the people in charge if they got Morris Day or Vanity to do a guest spot on the show. |

Yeah I know but playing Michael Jackson music is no big deal because he had a reputation for having family friendly music. Nobody considered his music inappropriate for kids unlike Prince who at the time his music was considered to graphic for young people, so you got to give the producers credit for taking a risk. And don't forget this was before Purple Rain, before 1999, before mainstram america know Prince. So having his music is a gamble having Michael's music is a no brainner.
