Laff Problems - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

For the past few days I've noticed that Laff seems to have problems and I wondering if anyone has noticed these problems with their Laff channels too?. When I turn on Laff the sitcoms come out blurry and washed out and the screen is covered with a black rectangle and the bottom of the sitcoms is on the top and the characters are missing the tops of their heads and the top of the sitcom is on the bottom of the screen. I never noticed this with Laff until this weekend when I saw Night Court. Hope Laff fixes this problem soon

It's got those horrible vertical black bars on either side, with a tiny picture in the center.

Saturday during the Grace Under Fire marathon my LAFF affiliate went totally blank for around an hour. But then it came back and I had no problems seeing the rest of the marathon. And it was fine the next day with 3rd Rock from the Sun.

That's the exact same problem my Laff station is having as well. I asked my mom if Laff is having problems on our living room TV and she said she noticed it while watching According To Jim and this has never happened with my Laff channel before

Hi, Bestie! I blame the transmitter. The networks rent the transmitters but the owners do not maintain them. I remember my METV being off the air for a month a while back. The networks need to get on the transmitters case and make them maintain them properly.

My Laff station went back to normal yesterday and the screen is perfect now. I don't know why Laff did this but I hope it never happens again
