I was reading on another message board about lines you would never hear characters say, so I thought I'd try some for TMTMS.

Mary - "You're looking kind of sexy today, Lou, do you want to stop by my place after work for a drink?"

Murray - "One of the best things about my job is that I get to work with the brilliant Ted Baxter."

Ted- "I don't care how much it costs, I'm taking you all out to dinner."

Lou - "One thing I don't believe in is drinking on the job."

Sue Ann - "I have a date with a really gorgeous guy tonight, but I'm really just not interested."

These are just a few, if anyone thinks of some more, please post them!!

Wow, that's freaky, I saw them on another board too, and I actually considered posting that myself! Ok here's my contribution:

Lou:Hey, Sue Ann, wanna go out with me tonight?

Sue Ann:I've decided to give up chasing men. I'm going to become a nun and go to Africa to help the poor.

Rhoda:I don't care if I ever get married. I'm enjoying the single life!

Well that's all I can think of. I tried to think of something dealing with Mary, but I just couldn't bring myself to have her say something smutty! LOL!

Phyllis - "Rhoda, I wish that awful Mary would move out so you could have her apartment and we could become better friends."

Rhoda - "It's so nice being single - especially since my mother never bothers me about it."

Georgette - "Ted, if you don't marry me, I'll blow your ------- head off!"

Ted:I really think anchormen these days are overpaid.

Rhoda: (To Phyllis)Don't tell Mary this, but YOU'RE really my best friend!

Sue Ann:Mary, help me. I need dating advice.

Ted:I don't care about winning Teddy awards!

Lou:I've decided to check myself into the Betty Ford center. I think I have a drinking problem.

Entire cast - "Mary, you give such great parties! We always want to come back!"

Murray - "I really don't find Mary attractive at all."

Mary - "Mr. Grant, I think I want to quit being a news producer and take over Sue Ann's Happy Homemaker job."
