I know Ward's job was never specified, but I seem to remember him remarking about being involved with ladies' ready-to-wear or some such. Maybe he was in advertising?

In one episode I remember him talking to June about a marketing survey that refers to womens' buying habits.
So, yes, advertising and/or marketing. In the Wally and Marlene episode, she asked him if he was an attorney. His only answer was no and why was she asking. |

I don't remember the episode, but Ward is trying to leave something on the dictiphone for his secretary. Does anybody remember what he is saying? I don't think it was marketing/advertising related. Something about negotiations and getting back to something, something.

I think it might have been when June called Ward telling him Beaver was in trouble (what else is new?). Maybe it was when he and Larry played hooky.
I do remember he was dictating--the only part I remember is something to the secretary about read down to here and do something. |

That's right, it was Beaver Plays Hooky. Ward was basically spouting a bunch of corporate-speak or legalese.
