So I decided to get Volume 1 of Saved by The Bell on VHS over the weekend, which contained “King of The Hill” and “Dancing to the Max.” Both are uncut content wise, which makes me wonder why Lionsgate and Shout Factory could not get all the original episodes, as those are syndicated on the DVDs.

This is a great point! My guess is those ones were preserved since they were released but many others were not? Not sure why they couldn't at least release those ones as uncut though. The DVD releases do contain some uncut episodes but the following are definitely edited (at least a couple of these are included unedited on the VHSs you bought):
Wicked Stepbrother part 1 Wicked Stepbrother part 2 The Aftermath Pipe Dreams Fourth of July Boss Lady Hold me Tight Aloha Slater Operation Zack The Last Dance Date Auction Palm Springs Weekend part 1 Palm Springs Weekend part 2 Fatal Distraction Screech's Woman The Gift The Lisa Card Cream for a Day The Babysitters The Zack Tapes Close Encounters of the Nerd Kind 1-900-CRUSHED House Party Jessie's Song Breaking Up is Hard to Undo My Boyfriend's Back The Glee Club Fake IDs SATs King of the Hill No Hope with Dope Slater's Friend School Song The Video Yearbook Best Summer of my Life The Fabulous Belding Boys Day of Detention Dancing to the Maxx Does anyone have uncut versions of these episodes? I (and probably many others on here) will GLADLY pay for copies!! |

Were the episodes on TBS syndicated?

Every episode from TBS is edited. When looking at the original series (high school) episodes, those that are roughly 22:15 are edited. The ones that are longer (at least 22:45 and often over 23 minutes) are not. Some episodes on the DVDs and officially released online by NBC are the longer original versions and some are not.
What we need to find is someone who recorded all episodes from NBC when they originally aired... |

Thanks. I bet that every episode from IFC is edited as well.
