Are there any streaming sources for seasons 6 and 7 online (even if from 16mm prints)?

I found a couple of season 7 Bob Crane episodes on YouTube from 16mm prints, one with original broadcast commercials, the other syndicated version. These were good -- I wish we could get the whole series...

On YouTube I also found several excerpts from season 7 "Old Faithful" which resolves the Mary and Scotty relationship -- I had no idea of this episode and found it fascinating. I had always hoped the two would be married some day when she returned to town for good. Oh well...

I really doubt most of 6 and 7 have even been transferred to videotape. So as you say any episode from those seasons would be sourced from 16mm old syndication or ABC daytime episodes.
I think there is some legal issue with the later Bob Crane episodes. A season 8 episode with him, which was probably held over from season 7, was omitted by MeTV when they showed season 8. I think he was first on in season 5, probably before he had a leading role and therefore wasn't under contract. |

I suspect you may be right about Bob Crane financial interest/legal issues.
Recently I read an interesting article about the syndication of Dark Shadows and learned that a station wanting to show episodes of a series not previously syndicated are/were obliged to pay a large upfront fee to pay off the residuals for all the unions (the previously syndicated episodes having been payed off years ago). So it can be pricey to add on to the package (and of course, mastering costs). Just speculation... |

There are a few episodes from the last 3 seasons that have found their way online but now if you have Decades you can also watch them on TV. Starting this week, you can watch these episodes that are all from Seasons 6,7, and 8 at its normal time of 10:00 am:

This was great news to hear Decades TV is streaming now. I've never seen Decades in my area so being able to see it now is fantastic.
Also when I read they were showing Donna Reed season 8 right now I got all excited and even set up my recorder to tape the shows this morning. I figured I'll record the rest of the s.8 shows this week. But now I realize I already have the season 8 episodes from when Me TV showed them a few years ago. Now I have to figure what to do with a DVD+R disc with just 2 episodes. Now what would be exciting is if Decades is going to be showing all episodes from season 6 & 7. Do you know if this is what they're doing? Since season 8 is almost done even if they are showing 6 & 7 it's going to be a while before they get to it after going thru all of seasons 1 - 5 again. If you know if Decades is showing seasons 6 & 7 I'd appreciate knowing that. |

They showed 2 episodes from season 6 and none from season 7. Just like what MeTV did a few years ago.
A guy has posted the two season 6 episodes on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nYIk6W9mtJM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=901a0HtEcFs He has also posted season 8 but I'm sure they skipped the same episodes MeTV did. Like the final one with Lesley Gore (she sang songs, can't have music!!). I have that, another one with music, and one with Bob Crane (who evidently is taboo, too). (The TV Land version of the Lesley Gore episode from years ago, Byline Jeff Stone, is also on Youtube). |
