I wonder where the the term " cotton pickin " came from ?
I see it in many other tv shows as well.
Maybe soon to be edited out ? see below

An adjective of Southern U.S. origin: Pain in the ass. Difficult. Bothersome. God-forsaken. Irritating. Frustrating. Crazy-making. Idiotic. Unbearable.

Originated as a descriptor for the labor of harvesting cotton crops. Later used to described the farm-workers, primarily african-american slaves, who harvested the crops. May be offensive, and perceived as derogatory or insulting, to any intelligent or enlightened audience if spoken aloud.

Yeh, since she was supposedly from the South she used the phrase. He went from a lamb to that.

Agree about the dictionary. Would've made more sense wanting to copy Wally's homework again.

You can’t use gyp in scrabble on line or word games. Beaver is always saying what a gyp.

I think Eddie uses “cotton pickin’ in Wally’s Dinner Date. The White Fox are you out of your cotton pickin’ mind? Yup it is considered offensive like so many expressions from the past. The expression I recall is “Take your cotton pickin’ hands off of my wallet!” (Very offensive!!)

That Melinda was a real shrew. “You will wish you had never been born!” She was scary. I wonder who took her to the dance.

The Little Rascals has a lot of old expressions now considered offensive.

I couldn't stand Melinda! And there are comment over on FB saying Beaver should have called her back and tried to get her to go with him.

Idiots! If anything he should have been begging Peggy to forgive him!

As usual he goofed it up when that witch Melinda first called him. He hem haws around when he should have told her he already had a date with Peggy. We know he's inexperienced with girls and all the boys were taken with her, but this is just common sense!
