When Wally leaves the table to go out they ask where he’s going and he says reluctantly he’s going to Cindy’s house. All he has to say is that she’s making a sweater for Eddie’s birthday and I’m being her model. No reason to be vague. He can say don’t tell Eddie, okay. No need for any sneaking around end of episode. Another episode plot that is simply rectified.

He should have told Lumpy that too. That way when Eddie would try to enlist him to help him do some spying/intel on Wally, Lumpy could steer him away from it somehow. Of course, "somehow" would be a wild card because who knows what's going through Lumpy's head at any given time, except perhaps a light breeze.

Lumpy might have blabbed and Beaver definitely has a big mouth, like in the old 98 football episode (although he was much younger there. You'd think he'd have learned when he was 2 or 3 years older, but I don't know...)

Wally definitely could have told Ward and June. Then when Beaver made his snarky remarks they could have said, Beaver, it's perfectly innocent and other than that, it's not your concern.

Another thing Wally could have done was to bring Julie in on Cindy's surprise, and they could have met at Julie's house and done the fitting.

LOL - maybe, Wally being a healthy 16 year old ... was hoping or actually having some ... fun - that's really what guys think about ... (he may have ... ya never know !)

Once again no plot here if everyone knew but Eddie. Then we would never have seen Eddie throw that awkward punch.

Hey when Cindy starts pulling the sweater around Wally’s waist, Wally could try to kiss her and get all hot and bothered. Cindy can get angry and tell Eddie that he was moving in. What starts out innocent turns Wally into an animal. No, not our Wally. Never mind.
