Just listened to all of it. Skip to 32 minutes in. They start talking about TFOL. Then it died off at about 43 minutes in, with some mentions throughout the end.

Interesting that Charlotte Rae was "so difficult" in her dressing meetings because she was insecure about how she looked.

Some parts were fun to listen to. Some parts were boring. The end was interesting with the name dropping and her experience with each of those celebs.

So the designer says she never deliberately dressed Mindy in bulky clothes to make her appear chunkier, after Mindy lost weight. We've all heard that myth before.

And the thing about Charlotte feeling insecure about how she looked seems so sad.

Someone obviously thought Mindy needed bulky clothes since she said so; Mindy doesn’t really seem prone to exaggeration. It doesn’t mean it was the costume designer. I agree the story about Charlotte’s fittings were sad. Interesting that Nancy McKeon wanted to dress like that....mmk lol! They femmes her up by Season 9, but most of her outfits from 7 and 8 were just unflattering.

I thought CHARLOTTE RAE dressed quite elegant in a casual way (except for season 1): her clothes looked nice on her, and she had a good posture!
