Default Does Government's Recent Admission UFO Evidence Exists Give Credit To Segments?

Sorry if this has already been mentioned here, but I didn't see it anywhere. However, the government recently admitted they have had an ongoing investigation into UFO activities for decades and there is evidence vehicles "not of this earth" exist. Recently also a sighting happened in Ohio. There is video of the Ohio siting that occurred days ago on Twitter.

Link here for more info: https://www.fox5dc.com/news/not-made...-some-findings

Just curious about a lot of people who consider the UFO segments filler. I am one who always had a feeling UFO's might possibly be real. For me each segment had too many similarities from New Mexico, Yorktown,NY all the way to Canada and Belgium everyone had the same story. Also the fact in every segment the witnesses comment that there is absolutely no sound; how the objects could linger in mid air almost floating; the many lights and the speed in which they can take off. I didn't believe everything from all segments but I still have always been a believer for the simple fact I think it is superior of us to think we are the only being of intelligence that exist.

The fact that the government decided to release this information at a time when the world is in complete pandemonium is also interesting. Most news spent very little time on it and no one seems to care; rightfully so given our current climate. They claim they will be releasing more evidence (the government that is).

What are your thoughts on this in regards to the segments and which UFO segments were your favorite? I personally liked Yorktown, Belgium and New Mexico/Allagash Abductions. The missing time episode sort of had a UFO feel to it as well. I forget which segment but the segment about the passengers of a car who were removed from the vehicle allegedly and returned to the vehicle; only they had been put in slightly the wrong order and hours had gone by with no account of this time; but vague memories.

I don't know this type of stuff fascinated me as a child and over 30 years later it still does. Any thoughts? (Excuse typos if there are any I worked a double shift).

1. Governments around the world have been conducting research into UFO'S going back to the 1940's-it isn't new.

2. UFO purely stands for Unidentified Flying Object-which can be anything-somebody even experienced pilots & cops misidentifying Venus for instance, Chinese Lanterns, regular planes, stealth planes etc.

3. https://www.skeptic.com/reading_room...-media-frenzy/

No, none of the segments have any more credibility than they did then-UM always presented a this is real stance more than a skeptical one on the supernatural segments, they would give air to rational explanations, but more to give the impression of being balanced-Joe Nickell for instance said he filmed a fair bit for the gold sweating psychic segment, but most of it never aired.

Default From UFOs to UAPs

I've gone into this at length on another thread. Just search UFOs to UAPs.
If you study long and in-depth on this subject and not just consume the pop culture programming, you will come to some very interesting conclusions:
1) Aliens exist.
2) They're only masquerading as extraterrestrials.
3) Their physical manifestations are closely aligned with spiritual matters and the occult.

I believe they changed the term Unidentified Flying Object (UFO) to Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) to reflect their true nature: these aren't nuts and bolts crafts flying around up there; these are the entities themselves. One of the recent videos clearly shows an amorphous ball of snot that looks like Slimer flying 900 miles an hour. I just have to laugh when they refer to them as "crafts".

In 1969, the Library of Congress prepared and published an annotated bibliography for the USAF titled UFOs and Related Subjects. The author, Lynn E. Catoe, wrote in her forward, "A large part of the available UFO literature is closely linked with mysticism and the metaphysical. It deals with subjects like mental telepathy, automatic writing, and invisible entities as well as phenomena like poltergeist manifestations and 'possession'."

In other words, the government had been studying this for over twenty years and had concluded that whatever this phenomena is, it's attempting very hard to present itself as something else. Here we are, 70 years later, and people still think these things are ET. Dwell on the concept of Fermi's Paradox or dive into the works of Charles Fort, and you'll come back with the idea that the Earth is a free range farm and we're the crop. "That the Earth is owned, all others warned off."

You can read John Keel's Operation Trojan Horse, Dr. Jacques Vallee's Messengers of Deception (or any of his books for that matter), and Dr. John Macks books. In Vallee's words they are engaging in a "world-wide enterprise of subliminal seduction. What we see in effect here is not an alien invasion. It is a control system which acts on humans and uses humans...Human beings are under the control of a strange force that bends them in absurd ways, forcing them to play a role in a bizarre game of deception."

Why would extraterrestrials travel light years just to sodomize (anal probes) humans? Science? Any significantly advanced species could perform these measurements with little to no intrusion.

With all of this in mind, I invite you to re-watch the Rendlesham Forest (Bentwaters) UFO segment. This has been declassified, so we can presume that it really did happen. Here we have uniformed officers (Read: highly credible witnesses) being lead on a wild goose chase. I believe the one witness literally called it a game of "cat and mouse". What was the ultimate goal of these "laser pointers" that they were chasing?

Also the Hudson Valley UFOs segment. Consider the testimony of Dennis Sant, "Then my son and I were just drawn underneath it. [I] felt very good about encountering a visual contact with the object. We followed the object around to the backyard, and at that point a feeling of fright came upon me. Thoughts started to flood my mind. Thoughts of the craft touching ground. Thoughts of an encounter with an alien being. Thoughts of being abducted. All types of fearful thoughts started to enter into my mind. And it seemed only to be seconds before the object started to move again, but the feelings were overwhelming. From beginning to end, the 19 to 20 minutes that I had viewed that craft, was also a time of self-examination of myself and who I was."

Pretty powerful stuff.

The article mentioned is now a year old.
As of today, this statement, "The Pentagon did not “disclose” or “release” anything about UFOs.", is demonstrably false. Not only did they re-release the videos in question, the DoD confirmed their veracity and stated that the phenomena in question (UAP) defies their knowledge of aeronautical physics. Basically, they're saying, "Look, this is real, we don't know if it's extraterrestrials or aliens, but we don't what it is and have no understanding of how it operates."

I cannot find any such statement about the laws of physics other than from a Navy pilot-can you link in where the quotes are? All I see thus far is the videos being officially released-having already been in the public domain for a long time.

[QUOTE=Chichester Crowe;5772834]I've gone into this at length on another thread. Just search UFOs to UAPs.

Zero evidence for them.

2) They're only masquerading as extraterrestrials.

For what purpose?

3) Their physical manifestations are closely aligned with spiritual matters and the occult.

Neither of which are proven to exist other than in human's minds either.

One of the recent videos clearly shows an amorphous ball of snot that looks like Slimer flying 900 miles an hour. I just have to laugh when they refer to them as "crafts".

So these advanced beings from other galaxies disguise themselves as piles of snot? Why not something more refined or something we would not recognise?

In 1969, the Library of Congress prepared and published an annotated bibliography for the USAF titled UFOs and Related Subjects. The author, Lynn E. Catoe, wrote in her forward, "A large part of the available UFO literature is closely linked with mysticism and the metaphysical. It deals with subjects like mental telepathy, automatic writing, and invisible entities as well as phenomena like poltergeist manifestations and 'possession'."

Well, the majority of UFO literature up until that point had been total nonsense about alien contact & flying on their craft, from quacks/frauds like Magoon & Adamski

You are coming to conclusions that aren't based on reality.

The only ones bending their minds are humans, real life mental health problems, political/societal problems etc manifesting themselves-such as Betty & Barney Hill.

Why would extraterrestrials travel light years just to sodomize (anal probes) humans? Science? Any significantly advanced species could perform these measurements with little to no intrusion.

Exactly, why would beings/craft so advanced travel light years to mutilate livestock & abduct people, anal probe them & return them decade after decade? None of it is reality-just fraudsters making up stories for money/attention & deluded/mentally unwell people-all of them likely influenced by Hollywood films, television series & articles/books.

Why exactly are they highly credible witnesses? Pilots & police officers have mistaken Venus for UFO's-wearing a uniform is always cited as irrefutable evidence/testimony, the reality is they are just as prone to put their own slant/bias on things as the rest of us. The behaviour of many of the individuals in the decades since has shown them to be anything but credible.

As we know eyewitness testimony without anything to back it up is effectively worthless, as it is so biased by various things-this is why science doesn't work on personal anecdotes. All Sant is showing is illogical thinking-why would he be happy to see a craft he cannot explain over his house? Why is he then thinking of alien abduction? Seems highly likely his frame of reference is Hollywood-ET hat just been released a few months earlier & of course Close Encounters Of The Third Kind was no doubt being played on television regularly since its 1977 release.

Pretty powerful stuff.

Not really.

Given the sheer size of the universe, and all the stars and planets scattered throughout (the "billions and billions" argument), I'd say it's pretty crazy to assume we are the only life bearing planet in the universe.

But, I also think that it's pretty vain to believe we are important enough that they would be pre-occupied coming here to play cat and mouse with us.

My pet theory is that 50,000 years ago a group of astronauts from another world came here on bivouac, got drunk, and pulled a few monkeys out of trees for recreational purposes.

And here we are.
