She would have been 13 or 14 then. Teenagers like to do strange things to their hair.

Another photo of Molly from 1982. I am not sure who the guy is. He could be her brother Kelly.

It's amazing how much MOLLY changed from FOL 1979 to 1982: in the photo with the guy she looks more like she did in the 'Breakfast club' (i suppose she was already a teenager then, whereas on FOL she was just a kid)

Molly grew a lot from just Season 1a to Season 1b and then grew quite a between Season 1 to the New Girl, Part 2 in Season 2. Since she had at least 1 movie in each Season of the Facts of Life, we know what she would have looked like if she had stayed on the Facts of Life thoughout the series. In the end, she would have just towered over all the girls. She grew to be at least Felice/Nancy O's height.

She certainly would have turned the tables on Mindy (Molly said she was intimidated by Mindy).

We really don't know what the other lost girls would have looked like if they had stayed on from Season 4-7.

MINDY doesn't strike me as an intimidated person at all: NANCY MCKEON as JO did though!

As for the lost girls: JULIE ANN HADDOCK as CINDY became without any doubt, the best looking one of them all! (during season 1, i thought FELICE SCHACHTER as NANCY was the best looking 'lost girl').

Cindy was my big crush at the time during season 1. Julie Anne is 6 months younger than I am.

I see what you mean about CINDY: she was pretty even when she was a tomboy!

I'd say, most of the older girls were beautiful in different ways:

1.BLAIR as my number one, had that kind of movie star astonishing beautiful girl look, with a touch of innocence on it!
2.NANCY was the exotic Mediterranean beauty!
3.CINDY was the fairy tale innocent beauty!
And finally,
4.SUE ANN was, what i call the all american beauty!

I wonder what Felice's ancestry is. Her last name is very German, but she looks Italian. We do know she is Jewish. In the US, it was not uncommon for Italians and Jews to intermarry. There was a comedy play called "My Father is Italian, my mother is Jewish, I am in Therapy."

I bet you 100 bucks that's probably what happened with FELICE family: she simply does NOT look German at all!!!!! (Being Jewish, her ancestors most probably mixed with some Italian/Greek people)......
