Our Satellite Company Just Dropped Goodlife TV - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I can't believe they did this!! I loved that channel. Does anyone get Goodlife anymore? None of our local cable companies carry this station. I can't imagine a channel that makes itself so unavailable to so many people. What an odd marketing technique. I am glad I don't own stock in the company and I sure wouldn't want to be one if its advertisers. Talk about a limited market....Bummer!

Recently AT&T Broadband in many New England systems dropped GoodLife networks from Digital Lineups. Though GoodLife has increased programming, many cable / satelittle systems have decided to drop it!

Well, I've heard my cable company is dropping it even though they haven't yet. although I wish they would all the shows on that channel suck.

Thank goodness we still have it! I just got digital a few weeks ago and I swear, if my cable company gets rid of it they'll be hearing from ME!

NONE of the Goodlife shows suck. Except for the westerns tho. I mean, it's not all 50s stuff. Matter of fact, they only have two 50s sitcoms. The rest are 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s. My Sister Sam is way better than Will & Grace anyway

It is interesting how many people don't have this channel. I loved it, but it isn't a channel with a huge audience (I would think), so you would think they would want to make it available to as many people as possible. Guess not. I emailed them. It will be interesting to see if I get a response.

Goodlife is one of those channels that shouldn't cost much, and should be in all cable/satellite packages. I find it odd that it is so hard to get!!

I called our Satellite provider (we have one of those old big dishes), and they told me that Goodlife is gone. Like poof it is off the air. I told her that their website was still up and is she sure it is gone-gone, or just gone from their service. She said gone-gone. Does anyone know if this is true?

Then she proceded to tell me about all the other channels they have to offer and wanted to sell me more! How about replacing the ones we lose with others. Nahhh...

Whatever!! No one I know has even heard of My Sister Sam but everyone I know has a loves to watch Will and Grace.

GoodLife might not be the best network on Cable Television (it definately isn't) ... but they definately have many programs worth watching.

In no way is this true. I was just watching GoodLife a few minutes ago. That lady either didn't know what she was talking about, or completely misunderstood what you meant.

"My Sister Sam" was a really good show that aired in the mid 80's. I'm not sure how old you are, but maybe the reason why you or nobody else you know has never heard of it because you may have been too young when it came out.
