Is it because of legal issues regarding streaming rights to its shows? I have a Cozi TV affiliate where I live but it’s low power (I can’t get it with my antenna) and my cable system doesn’t carry it.

Peacock is a streaming NBC channel. It just airs shows NBC has the rights to.

Peacock is Ok but not fantastic. You can watch Parks and Recreation and Cheers on it for free and there are a few other shows, but most of them you have to pay the subscription price of $5 a month ($4.99 but it’s $5).
I know that oddly Everybody Loves Raymond is on there, even though that was a CBS property. Also, Carol Burnett Show, also a CBS series, but I can watch that on Youtube (and not a big fan except for Mama’s Family skits, which is basically a sitcom in itself.) I wish the service would have more old shows, stuff from the 1960’s/1970’s and 1980’s. If you fly a lot on long flights, Peacock is like that inflight entertainment on the screen in front of you. It’s not great but not horrible but it has to be better and offer a lot more to warrant the monthly charge. I am a fan of Pluto TV which is free but with commercials. It gets redundant, but again, it’s free. |
