Another One

I am calling this thread, "Another One" because over on the "Mad About You" page, I started one called "Number One Answer". This had to do with the number one answer to a "Family Feud" question that reminded me of a situation on "Mad About You". Well, one week ago, today, I watched another episode of "Family Feud" in which there was a question in which the number one answer made me think of "Gimme a Break!". You see, Steve Harvey asked for a part of your body that is sharp. The number one answer read "My Nails". This answer brought my mind to the third-season episode "Samantha's Protest". Think back to when Nell was telling Samantha about the sit-ins that she participated in during her younger years. This gave Samantha the idea of organizing a sit-in for what she believed in. She then tried to recruit support from her own household. After Nell and Julie gave their excuses in which they could not go with her, Samantha turned to Katie. Katie's response was "gosh, I'd really love to Sam, but, I got to do my nails"! Once I saw the answer on the board last week, my mind went right over to this episode. I once had a friend who said that she thought that Katie was a total snot in this episode. Well, I would say that caring more about her nails than about her sister's feelings was one of the snotty qualities that she expressed in this particular episode. It was one of the reasons that she did not deserve to get asked out by the handsome boy that she had her heart set on. On top of this, I found another association between the answer to the "Family Feud" question and this episode. Out of the hundred people who answered the survey question, sixty-one people gave this answer. Kari Michaelsen who played the part of Katie was born in 1961!
