I had a lot of time on my hands without sports and being able to travel on the weekend and been watching more DVD's. The fun facts are.....................


There was a total of 106 Door Slams in characters faces on the show

George slammed the door in someone's face (85( times and the most were Mr. Bentley(48) and Ralph(17). Everyone else was either 2 times or less.

Louise slammed the door in someone's face (11)times with the most being, Bentley twice, Tom and Helen twice, George twice

Florence slammed the door (4) times in someone's face....George Twice, her boss Lyle and Ralph

Tom slammed the door in someone's face (3) times...Lionel/Jenny, George and Ralph.

Helen slammed the door in Mr. Bentley face (2) times

Bentley slammed his door in George face (1) time



Total of 106 for the series. The pandemic made this geeky project possible LOL



More fun facts

The N word was heard for the last time in season 8, Blazing Jeffersons

The word Honky was heard for the last time in season 7 episode "As Florence Turns.


Honky was uttered 85 times between season 1 and season 7
N Word was uttered 15 times between season 1 and season 8

I don't remember Helen slamming the door on people.

I was glad when honky and n word stopped in seasons 7 and 8. I was also glad when Tom & George became best friends.

I'm glad you're having fun with your "geeky project" due to the pandemic! I've also been super bored and have been binge watching a lot of Love Boat dvds! I like when they had guests like Jimmie Walker or Don Knotts, fun sitcom people like that. The one with Joyce DeWitt was also good.

Helen didnt do it directly, she didnt she was doing it and was facing the opposite direction You can hear Paul benedict laughing behind the door one of the times she did it
