It has recently been airing on several networks such as AMC, CW, TVLAND,
IFC, Paramount, etc...

What happened? I enjoy the show, but it was gone for so long...

Around here it's never been off. First the "main" channel 4, then it moved to 4.2.

I asked a simple question...

The show has not been on Central Florida cable for years,
now suddenly it's airing on 5 or 6 different networks and
is available 7 days a week between all of them...

What's your question or the point you are trying to make? It seems like it's a popular series in syndication that's truly never been off the air. Maybe they were just giving it a break on some stations.
