Can someone please tell me what Lucy is doing in the color opening sequence? It seems to me that she is making mean faces at a catsup bottle........

She was playing a "scrub woman" in a parody of My Fair Lady with Ann Sothern. She is drinking her pop in an "uncouth" way in order to convince some wealty people into investing in Countess Framboise's charm school. If the countess could change Lucy into a sophisticated person, they would invest in the charm school.
