Archie Bunker meets Nathan Bookman in 1982 on CBS

Never knew Johnny Brown appeared on Archie Bunkers place until tonight. Now I will defintely be buying this show on DVD in a few weeks

That Bookman guy is hysterical! I loved when he was on the Jeffersons as George's annoying friend that Louise despised. She said "he has seconds to live..." And the friend referred to himself as "sex pot." That was a great episode! He also initiated a food fight at a fancy restaurant where Tom got attacked with mashed potatoes!

I didn't know he was on Archie Bunker's Place. I'd much rather hang out with Bookman than Archie Bunker.

I liked the impressions he did on Good Times. He did a really good Wolfman Jack impression. He totally sounded like him!

I know!! I never knew he guest starred on Archie Bunker's place either !! I'd love to see this ep.! I always liked him, he seems like a really nice man along with being funny ! I always felt sorry for him on Good times! I thought Mr. Bookman was cool! I didn't see him as intrusive or nosey, just a nice friendly guy! I didn't see why the Evan's and Wilona disliked " Buffalo Butt" so much !?

seeing him and Don Rickles in same episode means I will definitely buying the complete series on DVD which is expected to be released before year is over

I always love the scenes where Jame and Bookman tangle as James always had the last word.

In first couple of seasons, Bookman played slightly meaner where he was always treating Evans with eviction. But he did lighten up starting with season 3 and the episode Rent Party where he did funny impressions. It was so hilarious the way James introduced Bookman as the next performer on stage in that episode:"This prove that you can find talent anywhere you look. Even under a rock"
