Default Can Anyone Recall a Single Time Topanga Showed Cory Affection on GMW?

I can't say I was the most diligent watcher since I only watched it to try to get some continuity from what had been a fave BMW but, from what I watched, it seemed Topanga only barely tolerated Cory's presence so she'd have someone to help care for their kids but had little if any sincere remaining affection for him as a spouse left.

She didn't even list him among 'the people I love' when she asked for opinions from her in-laws and family friends in the the Season Three finale about her proposed London move- much less even asked him what his opinion was about whether the family should move.

Yes, I know that Cory had plenty of faults but he'd had those faults on BMW yet back then she loved him despite and/or learned to love said faults.
However, despite the facts that he was a dedicated (albeit flawed) co-parent who had a been a faithful husband and DID have affection for her, she didn't seem to reciprocate much less appreciate those facts.

Since Ben Savage and Danielle Fisher were producers of this show, I wonder why they allowed this to happen with their characters (to say nothing about their characters' parenting skills).

To me, there is a lot to considered. Corey and Topanga weren't the main characters of this show and with the show being on Disney, I guess that only so much could be shown.

God bless you always!!!

OK, but it wouldn't have taken more than a second or two for Topanga to have spontaneously hugged Cory even ONCE but I never saw her do so much as that nor any other indication that she had more than a grudging tolerance for him to reside in her abode as someone to watch their kids for free. She even rebuffed Cory when he tried to hug her after Shawn hugged Katy after their wedding!

Moreover, on BMW, despite the fact that it was from Cory's POV, somehow Alan and Amy DID show mutual affection to each other on a regular basis even with their family expanding from three to four kids.

P.S. It's interesting that despite the fact that my original post has been up for almost a month, not one Forum poster has been able to recall a single time of Topanga showing sincere affection for Cory- despite how their bond on BMW was supposed to have been the ultimate one with them supposedly in love forever and ever. Well, it sure seems that didn't happen on GMW.
