Now before I start telling you about these commercials this post is dedicated to my mom who was a big fan of John Denver and would enjoy these commercials. We all know John Denver was one of the big superstars of the 70's but what people never realized about John Denver was he also did commercials. In the 80's Post selected John Denver to be the spokesman for Post Raisin Bran and it proved to be a winner for Post and with John Denver the commercials were a winning hand for Post. Now if John Denver were alive today do you think he could be a star in commercials today?

Hi, Bestie! I miss John Denver. He was a great singer/songwriter as well as an actor/entertainer. I remember those commercials. Thank you for reminding me about him.
