It would be a little strange to see Blair and Jo still hang around the school when they were going to Langly. If they had spun Blair and Jo off into their own series at Langly as discussed and they got new students to replace them, then it would be different.

It woulda been nice to see Eastland still. Maybe Blair and jo could’ve gotten jobs volunteering at Eastland

It’s very simple. During senior week, Blair and Jo steal the Eastland van, er, school bus to go to a bar, er, nightclub to meet men. They wreck the van, I mean bus. Mr. Parker decides they will not graduate until they complete additional coursework, as punishment. They both defer their Langley admissions and stay at Eastland another year, working in the cafeteria to pay off damage to the, uh, bus.
