ok...i have two postal questions.

i never mail letters anymore (thanks to e-mail) so...

can you send a five dollar bill to someone? i want to send one to lisa whelchel for her autograph. last time I mailed money I was like in third grade and I sent a bunch of coins..lol..well, the letter got ripped to shreds when my friend received it.

and...

what are these "first class" stamps? if i put one on something that would normally need two 34 cent stamps would it count for both of them? what i'm saying is...can they be any amount?

If I were you I'd send a money order because sending real money is risky. Anyone could see it in there, ripped it out, and you'd never know. You can get money orders at most gas stations and at Wal Mart.. they're like 46 cents are wal mart. soooo not bad.

well, if you like wrap a regular white sheet of paper around the bill and then put it in a security envelope, you should be fine.

I send money to my niece and nephews every Christmas and have never had a problem but like Meg said wrap it in some paper first so people won't be able to see whats in there.
