Spaghetti with Bean sauce

In the episode where Fred's niece Elizabeth come to visit, Fred was cooking dinner called Spaghetti with Bean sauce. Has anybody have ever heard of such a dish?

Knowing Fred cooking style, bean sauce probably mean anything left over in the fridge combine with Bean and served over spaghetti. And Lamont knowing about his bean sauce saying when it comes to Fred's sauce, the more water the better.

You do it kinda Italian-ish, not always a red sauce but with black bean, kidney bean, or whatever kinda bean you like, really, in place of meat. Cheap and filling, does the trick.

Fridge leftovers would more likely go in D'Omelette "Fred".

I did that once when I was first married, we didn't have a lot of money and I really didn't have my homemaking skills down pat yet ! No ground meat but we had spaghetti and I thought spaghetti sauce ? Turned out just having the spaghetti! However we did have a can of kidney beans in the cupboard ! So there you go Spaghetti and kidney beans! I thought it was OK , the Hubby didn't think it was very good though

I eat canned chili with spaghetti when need to whip up something quick, and it is actually pretty tasty and very filling. It is probably an "old west" dish.

OMG, i would kill to have some steak and Rice a toni beanie. I even made it one time before! Never go wrong
