Default Watched New Girl today for the first time in about 30 years and have 3 questions

1. Was it mentioned where the other girls were from season 1?

2. Why was Molly the only girl from the ones who were cut who was seen in part 2 of this episode

3. Was that Molly's last appearance?

Not at all. It was left up the viewer to wonder.

My personal belief is because since the girls were now "kitchen slaves", Molly would be the perfect one of the "previous girls" to return for a cameo, since she's a liberal and an activist. So with these girls in trouble and punished and sentenced to kitchen duty, it would be easy to write some lines for Molly to remark on their new situation.

On camera, yes. Off camera, we Lost Girl fans love to still imagine her at Eastland with the other Lost Girls, just off camera...in the lounge during cafeteria and kitchen and upstairs scenes, outside preparing to enter the cafeteria during other scenes, in the cafeteria during kitchen and upstairs scenes, etc.

In hindsight, it was such unknown providence to have Molly appear first. How fortuitous for Lost Girl fans, because since she didn't appear again, it at least gave us the closure that all 4 of our beloved Lost Girls were seen on the show in the revamped cafeteria years.

Off camera, it was obvious that the other girls lost contact with Molly in "The Little Chill" through the years so she obviously left Eastland some years before and cut off contact with all her former housemates.

Yep Molly probably found a set of feminist friends and was at rallies to save the whales at the time

That wasn't obvious. That's the picture you're painting. They all lost some contact in the later years before TLC, but the Lost Girls all stayed at Eastland and graduated. They were all still friends.

Remember, they wanted to included Molly in TLC but because of what the show did to her and then the wild success she found, she wasn't about to give those producers the time of day.
