Last Fall/Winter I re watched them, a few were first time watches. Definitely enjoyed watching them all in order as they all connect to each other.

Can't really discuss them much since I haven't seen many of them. Here is what I've seen as of now:

I remember seeing Iron Man at a matinee viewing at the local theater. Also, MARVEL'S Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the short-lived Agent Carter series tie into the MCU as well. I believe the Netflix series' Punisher, Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, The Defenders are in it as well I also like some of the non-MCU MARVEL movies like: Tom Jane's The Punisher Ben Affleck's Daredevil (I saw Elektra just for Jennifer Garner) Wesley Snipes' Blade Series Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man Series The X-Men Franchise |

As for the movies you've mentioned... I like Tom Jane's Punisher film. It's my favorite of the three. It's kind of hard to watch in the beginning, knowing that his whole family is going to be brutally murdered but it's necessary to show in order to better understand why Frank Castle would become The Punisher. I saw Daredevil in the theaters but I never really liked it. It's okay, not the worst comic book movie, but it also didn't impress me any. I just saw the Blade trilogy for the first time in 2018 as part of my movie binge. Despite being darker than what I prefer in comic book movies, they were pretty good. To me, the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man films are the gold standard (especially 1 & 2). I still consider Spider-Man 2 to be the best comic book movie ever made. The X-Men movies are hit or miss but the ones that hit are really good. My favorites being (in order of release) X2, Days of Future Past and Logan. |

I wish Marvel could make a solo movie about Star Lord so we can learn more about his beginnings and it would be about Star Lord growing up from a young child to a teenager and it would be a monster hit indeed

I just started watching the Marvel movies because a coworker talked me into it. I started with the newer X-Men movies that recently came out. I find those better than what we got with the Patrick Stewart movies. Robert Downey Jr's performance of Iron Man is keeping me hooked to finish the Avengers movies. I don't care for Chris Evans's acting so the only Captain America movie I'll be watching is Civil War since it has the rest of the Avengers in it. Overall, Marvel has done a good job with these movies. A shame DC always tries to restart the franchise every time a new movie comes out instead of working off previous films. DC could have what Marvel has if they weren't trying to go for a movie of their own. Look what they did with Batman. The standalone Batman movie coming out was originally going to be with Ben Affleck after he did Batman vs. Superman and Justice League. However, the one in charge didn't like Ben as Batman and wanted to restart the story in his own way with a younger actor as Batman. As long as they keep this up, Marvel will always lead over DC with the comic book based movies. |

Also, I was wrong about Dark Phoenix being the last of Fox's franchise. The last is the spin-off The New Mutants. |

Yeah, that doesn't even make sense how they did that. Days of Future Past shows her alive as an adult, but her younger self dies in Dark Phoenix. I still don't get how that's possible unless they were planning another movie where she's really alive and they free her from the Phoenix possession.
