National Anthem Returns to TV Stations - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Remember when TV stations signed on and off with the National Anthem? The practice returned last year when many of the stations owned by Gray Television and a number of CBS owned stations aired the Star Spangled Banner which was sung by nine year old Reina Ozbay.

I saw it for the first time on Memorial Day and to me it was the best National Anthem video I have seen in more than 40 years. The quality is way better than the old, grainy SSB films produced by branches of the military.

Yes Indeed Howliu; This is much like the old days back when plenty of channels go off the air for the overnight.
