I've been watching New Leave It To Beaver for a couple years but now I'm seeing shows from it's last seasons. Last week was bad but this week was AWFUL. I'm talking about in last week's show (a "celebration" of Beaver with cast members) and now in the show this week, Kip wanting to go out with a hot girl, and during practically the whole show as with last week's show the worst most sickening singing and dancing I've ever seen. That celebration show was the first one I saw with horrible singing and so-called dancing all done by the young "stars" who play the kids, obviously fame has gone to their now inflamed heads. They are now obviously believing their own publicity. They now seem to think they're talented wonderful singing dancers. I'm horrified. What happened to the show with stories and acting and no phony ego trip music video style crap? I hope this will be the last of these horrid singing kids shows. I had to fast forward thru the outrage, I couldn't take it.

Not only that, but some of the plots were downright lame. The writers were clearly running out of ideas. Kip also didn’t make many appearances.

Sorry for the delay, I usually don't bother checking the '80 sitcoms messages but today wanted to post a new New LITB message so caught your (Lorimar) question. Answer, I'm watching on the only trusty place you can watch classic TV today, that's on DVDs. I never have to worry some lousy TV channel will cancel a show I like and even better I watch the shows on my own time table.

Must be a bootleg because the series is in legal limbo.

the episode with Kelly's bad date - Kaleena Kiff's body language in the relevant scene is NOT that of someone who knows they are about to be raped.
