My World and Welcome to It
I saw that this one season sitcom won the best comedy Emmy for 1969-1970. I never saw My World and Welcome to It as I would not be born for another decade and a half. Back then Emmys actually meant something, you would think NBC would have wanted it around longer. Being against Gunsmoke probably didn't help, but they surely didn't expect it to match veteran I Dream of Jeannie's numbers from the previous season there.
