I posted a comment on a post about the accordion episode. They showed the scene when the accordion falls downstairs. I said how June acted like a Stepford wife. Ward asks her if she ordered an accordion. “That’s the silliest thing I ever heard.” After the accordion falls downstairs she says ‘Ward it’s an accordion.’ I said they portrayed her as an air head. Someone objected and I got a notification that my comment was deleted. Wonder if this will get deleted.

That's ridiculous. I posted about the silly comment she made when Beaver spotted Wally with Julie, and June says, "Our Wally?" I posted that Ward should have said, "Dear, how many Wallys do you know?" I'm surprised they didn't delete that. I might have posted that here, too. (Just noticed I did.)

I saw that comment and thought ‘typical June.’ It reminds me when they wake up Wally and ask if he knew who might have called the police on Lumpy. He indicates he has a good idea. June asks ‘ Do you think it was your brother, Beaver?’ Imagine if I called her an airhead again on FB? I think a woman should be able to call a woman an airhead.

I don't do well on FB. I like the forums much better. I got banned from the Downton Abbey forum but did not know it until a year later when I went in to see about a movie. My commenting ability was not there.

Oh well.

Yeah no one wants to be banned. I haven’t been banned from the LITB Fan Club yet just deleted my posts. It still is weird.

Banning only has teeth if you know you are banned, and you give a crap.

It took me a year to find out so whatever I said never registered with me.

I reapplied and when I went into the page, nobody had posted in 6 months. Oh well.

I just realized I think another comment was deleted. I mentioned how the writers of Chuckie’s Shoes should have gone before the network firing squad as mentioned in The King of Comedy. I can’t find it so it might have offended someone.

I saw your tough trivia--there's a walking encyclopedia over there who I think got it.

I'm surprised no one put a "That's my favorite episode" comment on there. Practically every post has one.

Just checked Joe Leatherman got it right. He must be the LITB walking encyclopedia. Ward, Lumpy, Gilbert and Richard’s brother all had their tonsils out.

Why would they delete your comment? I didn't see anything wrong with it.

It looks to me like there's a certain line they don't want crossed when it comes to criticism of an episode or character. To be honest I never looked at their rules but I can't imagine a rule like that. My guess is the post was flagged by somebody and the mod agreed. I know it wouldn't have been deleted here.

Scrabjan, you're right about Leatherman getting the answer. And look how many posts your question drew!

That's ridiculous of them to do that, but it's their rules and they can do what they want.

I read the rules and I never said anything objectionable but if someone complains then it’s deleted. They deleted another post way back when June was working on Beaver’s bunny costume. I said something like it was really for June and it was to work at the playboy mansion cigars, cigarettes, tiparillos.

Right stevea, that guy got the answer really fast.

It’s still ridiculous that they are deleting posts though.

I've seen a lot of silly posts over there--it seems whatever the topic is, someone puts in a post, "That's my favorite episode", or something similar.
