Default Humidifier vs. Dehumidifier

If you put them both in a room and turned them on, who would win?

We only have a dehumidifier in our basement. They are more efficient.

Two machines enter, one leaves.

ah those houses more East that West and their attics and basements. Mom had a dehumidifier going in the basement too...how much good it did, I have no idea.

At least around here, basements get too humid in the summer. If you don't run a dehumidifier you will get mold; it's that simple.

I just replaced my dehumidifier a couple of weeks ago. I think this is the 6th or 7th one that's been in my house in my lifetime. Now what to do with the old one -- no one wants them if they're shot.

Find some scrap dealers and tell them what you have, they take many types of metals.

Yeah, they last two or three years. You know they're failing when they start icing up.

There are places around here that will take them but it costs around $10.
