We only have a dehumidifier in our basement. They are more efficient.

ah those houses more East that West and their attics and basements. Mom had a dehumidifier going in the basement too...how much good it did, I have no idea.

At least around here, basements get too humid in the summer. If you don't run a dehumidifier you will get mold; it's that simple.

I just replaced my dehumidifier a couple of weeks ago. I think this is the 6th or 7th one that's been in my house in my lifetime. Now what to do with the old one -- no one wants them if they're shot.

Find some scrap dealers and tell them what you have, they take many types of metals.
