Stanley, the monkey is in the news. Researchers are conducting trials testing out new Covid vaccines on the Macaque monkey like Stanley.

And that stack of sandwiches June prepared. I believe he sat right on them. Hey I wonder who actually cleaned up Stanley‘s cage I can’t believe it was June, hey maybe Ward. Someone had to do it.

Mischievous as 'Stanly' was shown on that episode, he was remarkably docile.

Over the years and decades, I've heard from some people 2nd and 3rd hand accounts of those who had monkeys as pets: they make terrible pets to the point you'd want to kill the thing. They'll wreck your house, steal things, and harm you. One guy said it's like having the brattiest hyperactive 2-year old kid you've ever seen, but with the strength of a street thug.

Maybe he was drugged somewhat on the show. Who knows.

Wow I can’t imagine what that monkey could really do. Ward acts like its a riot Beaver is bringing home a good size monkey. That’s the last thing I would have. We never really see what it’s capable of doing except the bridge party. When it ran out the door I would’ve said good riddance. Too bad he came back. He was sick so not as much trouble.

Rusty Stevens, Larry, said he grabbed hold of his hair and almost pulled his hair out before his handler could get him off.
