A legal dispute prevented this from being included on the Color Honeymooners dvd release from MPI.

This syndication edit omits the opening dance number on the roof, and is time-compressed, reducing the full running time by nearly 8 minutes to accommodate extra ad placement.

Maybe someday the uncut version of this episode will surface. I know of one or two people who said that they had it. Prior to his passing, a member of this board, Videowack said that he had it with the time code on the bottom of the screen. There was another person who I will not mention by name, that I dealt with who is from the Tampa region of Florida who claimed that he had it along with other rarities like the Incredible World of Ed Norton with the time code on the bottom of the screen (at least I think he said that he had Life Upon The Wicked Stage) but he BURNED me on the trade.

You are quite welcome. I wonder how long it will be allowed to stay up?

I've contacted folks who claim to have the uncut episode but, when it came right down to it, they were like the French Taunters from Monty Python: "Oh, yes! It is very nice!" with no proof they had it and no trading possible.

Same with Incredible World, except that one is always more like, "Oops! I said I had it, but I don't have that title, anymore."
