Many of you probably have seen my earlier posts I wrote for a fictional network which I gave the working title RealTV. This is a fictional over-the-air TV network usually carried as a digital subchannel of a TV station's main signal. I chose RealTV as the network's working title for obvious reasons, if you take a good look at the schedule! From virtually the beginning of TV in the 1940's well until the 1990's, TV stations and networks had very distinct schedules and dayparts centerted around an all-important Prime Time schedule with sitcoms and drama series, game shows and soap operas in the daytime, cartoons on Saturday morning, sports on weekend afternoons, etc. In recent years, many of these have almost completely disappeared, such as Saturday morning cartoons, as well as game shows and soaps in the daytime during the week. RealTV airs many of what is now largely missing from network TV today, which is where the "Real" comes from!
This schedule is based on an earlier proposal I posted here a few years ago and written as if RealTV is a sister network to Antenna TV, due to the fact that MeTV already has three sister networks (Heroes & Icons, Start TV, and Decades), so Antenna TV would be the more logical partner network since Antenna TV has no sister networks. In addition, this would gain access to Antenna TV's library of shows, adding shows no longer airing on Antenna TV (much like Decades) as well as shows on the back burner of their schedule (currently airing overnight) that would be more likely to get dropped. The rest consists of shows not airing currently on any other subchannel or no longer airing on these networks. Besides some much-needed improvements, several TV shows I had on my original schedule (such as Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley) will be airing on MeTV beginning in June, so I needed to find replacements, mostly from the Antenna TV show library. Here is the schedule I now have so far: Monday-Friday: 6:00am The Jack Benny Show 6:30am Mr. Merlin (Monday) The Charmings (Tuesday) On Our Own (a short-lived 1977-78 sitcom, Wednesday) The Betty White Show (another short-lived 1977-78 sitcom, Thursday) Hi Honey, I'm Home (Friday) This show aired on both ABC and Nickelodeon for one season (a second aired on Nickelodeon only), which was about a fictional 1950's TV sitcom family transported to the real world in the 1990's. Every episode had a guest star from various classic TV shows! 7:00am Spider-Man (Monday & Tuesday) 1967-70 cartoon series The New Adventures of Batman (Wednesday) 1977-1980 run, yes with Bat-Mite! Super Friends (Thursday & Friday) original 1973-77 run. 7:30am Garfield & Friends 8:00am The Archie Show (Monday) Sabrina the Teenage Witch (Tuesday) the 1970 cartoon series, not the 1990's sitcom Groovie Goolies (Wednesday) The Jetsons (Thursday) The Pebbles & Bamm-Bamm Show (Friday) 8:30am Captain Kangaroo (E/I) It has been reported that the majority of episodes have been wiped, or destroyed (especially the early B&W episodes), but I do know that MANY episodes aired on PBS during the mid-to-late 1980's; though nearly all of the PBS airings were from the mid-70's onward. Also, After a little research, I learned it was very likely that the PBS airings were only 30 minutes long was very likely a result of copyright clearances, due to the fact that some segments came from outside sources, some of them foreign such as Simon and the Chalk Drawings, The Undersea Adventures of Captain Nemo, and The Toothbrush Family. 9:00am Sabrina the Teenage Witch 9:30am Mork & Mindy 10:00am Angie (Monday & Tuesday) Rocky Road (Wednesday-Friday) This is a short-lived TV Sitcom produced for Superstation WTBS from 1985 to 1987. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wjrVKFnPoE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HNnQB5FMJV4 10:30am The Hogan Family 11:00am Eight is Enough 12:00noon Diff'rent Strokes 12:30pm Diff'rent Strokes 1:00pm Facts of Life 1:30pm Facts of Life 2:00pm Welcome Back, Kotter 2:30pm Silver Spoons 3:00pm 7th Heaven 4:00pm 7th Heaven 5:00pm Who's the Boss? 5:30pm Who's the Boss? 6:00pm Square Pegs (Monday) Living Dolls (a short-lived Who's the Boss? spin-off, Tuesday) House Calls (Wednesday-Friday) 6:30pm Rhoda 7:00pm Full House 7:30pm Full House 8:00pm Alice 8:30pm Alice 9:00pm The Golden Girls 9:30pm The Golden Girls (Monday-Thursday) The Golden Palace (Friday) 10:00pm Cheers 10:30pm Cheers Love at Midnight: 11:00pm Dallas (the classic 1978-91 run) 12:00 midnight Ryan's Hope 12:30am Ryan's Hope Fun & Games Overnight: 1:00am Match Game (1979-82 syndicated run) The 1973-79 CBS Daytime run and the 1975-79 Match Game PM run currently air on Buzzr. The 1979-1982 Match Game run may not be as well-known as the 70's CBS Daytime and Syndicated Match Game PM runs, but it definitely had its memorable moments: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wDk5ykZ-QYU&t=22s Kirstie Alley as a contestant in 1979 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JlSds1hglSw Her second show https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RBD-MMfQhW4 Betty White goes into a wild stripping frenzy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1SainhHpWss Gene Rayburn breaks the door down! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gqGgJYgtS04 Perhaps the WORST answer in game show history! ![]() 1:30am The Price is Right: CBS Daytime, 1972-75 (Monday-Thursday) Syndicated Prime-Time 1972-80 (Friday) Due to the abundance of fur coats given away on this version, as per Bob Barker's wishes, there will only be enough for a once a week airing (approx 40 of the 240 episodes in the 70's nighttime shows had no furs given away). This was hosted by Dennis James (from 1972-1977) and Bob Barker (1977-1980). 2:00am The Price is Right (CBS Daytime; September 1975, November 1975-present) 3:00am Wheel of Fortune (1983-present Syndicated Prime Time run) 3:30am Wheel of Fortune (ditto) 4:00am Jeopardy! The show aired on Antenna TV a few years ago, hence my parterning this network with their owners!) 8:00am Speed Buggy 8:30am The New Adventures of Mighty Mouse (1979-1982 cartoon series) 9:00am Sparks (E/I) This is a Sci-Fi series about time travel produced for WRAL-TV 5, a local TV station in Raleigh, NC that ran from 1985 to 1990. Here's a series of specials I would run during the Christmas season:
It's Christmastime Again, Charlie Brown. Here's a series of specials I would air around Easter:
It's the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown: I did plan to not air the Holiday specials which currently air on ABC, but this has not aired since 2014. Assuming ABC decides not to air this again, I will add this one, airing as a Primetime special with an encore airing in The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show's regular time slot at 11:30am on Easter Sunday! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TbRi1hflGvM (CLIP) A Family Circus Easter: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pHLWFyN6deE Bugs Bunny's Easter Funnies: https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72sxxb Here Comes Peter Cottontail!: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t2_ZdknLMIo The Easter Bunny is Comin' to Town: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lTzLNJqgBvQ The First Easter Rabbit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJuECpnPgcg Yogi the Easter Bear: https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x3urfo9 (CLIP) Will Vinton's Claymation Easter: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YsXey_s4Dgg (CLIP) Enjoy!

My newest revision, due to the addition of Bugs Bunny/Warner Bros. cartoons to MeTV next January. I have no idea how the SyndEx rule applies to airing these cartoons, especially on Saturday Morning (which MeTV will do), but I tried to be on the safe side, and drop The Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Show from my schedule. Hopefully, I could work around this by airing some of the periodic Bugs Bunny/Looney Tunes TV specials from the 70's & 80's! Here is a list of these specials:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...ision_specials Anyway, here is my revised schedule for now: Monday-Friday: 6:00am Square Pegs (Monday) The Charmings (Tuesday) On Our Own (a short-lived 1977-78 sitcom, Wednesday) Mr. Merlin (another short-lived 1977-78 sitcom, Thursday) Hi Honey, I'm Home (Friday) This show aired on both ABC and Nickelodeon for one season (a second aired on Nickelodeon only), which was about a fictional 1950's TV sitcom family transported to the real world in the 1990's. Every episode had a guest star from various classic TV shows! 6:30am The Archie Show (Monday) Sabrina the Teenage Witch (Tuesday) the 1970 cartoon series, not the 1990's sitcom Groovie Goolies (Wednesday) The Jetsons (Thursday) The Pebbles & Bamm-Bamm Show (Friday) 7:00am Spider-Man (Monday & Tuesday) 1967-70 cartoon series The New Adventures of Batman (Wednesday) 1977-1980 run, yes with Bat-Mite! All-New Super Friends Show (Thursday & Friday) the second series of episodes which premiered in 1977. 7:30am Garfield & Friends 8:00am Captain Kangaroo (E/I) It has been reported that the majority of episodes have been wiped, or destroyed (especially the early B&W episodes), but I do know that MANY episodes aired on PBS during the mid-to-late 1980's; though nearly all of the PBS airings were from the mid-70's onward. 8:30am Sabrina the Teenage Witch 9:00am Rocky Road (Monday-Wednesday) This is a short-lived TV Sitcom produced for Superstation WTBS from 1985 to 1987. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wjrVKFnPoE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HNnQB5FMJV4 Welcome Back, Kotter (Thursday & Friday) 9:30am House Calls (Monday-Wednesday) Welcome Back, Kotter (Thursday & Friday) 10:00am The Rockford Files 11:00am Eight is Enough 12:00noon Rhoda 12:30pm Silver Spoons 1:00pm Diff'rent Strokes 1:30pm Diff'rent Strokes 2:00pm Facts of Life 2:30pm Facts of Life 3:00pm 7th Heaven 4:00pm 7th Heaven 5:00pm Who's the Boss? 5:30pm Who's the Boss? 6:00pm Full House 6:30pm Full House 7:00pm One Day at a Time 7:30pm One Day at a Time 8:00pm Alice 8:30pm Alice (Monday-Thursday) Flo (a spin-off of Alice, starring Polly Holiday in the title role, Friday) 9:00pm The Golden Girls 9:30pm The Golden Girls (Monday-Thursday) The Golden Palace (Friday) 10:00pm Cheers 10:30pm Cheers Love at Midnight: 11:00pm Dallas (the classic 1978-91 run) 12:00 midnight Ryan's Hope 12:30am Ryan's Hope Fun & Games Overnight: 1:00am Match Game (1979-82 syndicated run) The 1973-79 CBS Daytime run and the 1975-79 Match Game PM run currently air on Buzzr. On a post which was moved to the Cartoons & Animated Series forum, I mentioned that networks (at least ABC that I know of) often aired cartoons the day after Thanksgiving during the 70's & 80's, for the kids who were home from school. I think this would be a great idea for my network as well!
![]() Day After Turkey Day kids/cartoon lineup (pre-empting the 8:30-4pm schedule for that day, episodes TBA): 8:30am Heckle & Jeckle with Quackula 9:00am Richie Rich 9:30am New Adventures of Mighty Mouse 10:00am Scooby's All-Star Laff-a-Lympics 10:30am All-New Popeye Show 11:00am New Scooby Doo Movies 12:00noon The Charlie Brown & Snoopy Show 12:30pm Mickey's Magical Christmas: Snowed in at the House of Mouse This is a special 90 minute episode of Mickey's House of Mouse that was originally a direct-to-video movie from 2001. Here is the amazing finale of that episode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UPvcii3UH24 2:00pm Rudolph & Frosty's Christmas in July (a 2-hour made-for-TV movie) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5H3b4u4rESE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVG6i8WP6Dc Enjoy!

I made another minor revision, since the new schedules for Antenna TV & MeTV for 2021 came out. Here is what I have now:
Monday-Friday: 6:00am Square Pegs (Monday) The Charmings (Tuesday) On Our Own (a short-lived 1977-78 sitcom, Wednesday) Mr. 6:30am Spider-Man (Monday & Tuesday) 1967-70 cartoon series The New Adventures of Batman (Wednesday) 1977-1980 run, yes with Bat-Mite! All-New Super Friends Show (Thursday & Friday) the second series of episodes which premiered in 1977. 7:00am The Archie Show (Monday) Sabrina the Teenage Witch (Tuesday) the 1970 cartoon series, not the 1990's sitcom Groovie Goolies (Wednesday) The Jetsons (Thursday) The Pebbles & Bamm-Bamm Show (Friday) 7:30am Garfield & Friends 8:00am Captain Kangaroo (E/I) It has been reported that the majority of episodes have been wiped, or destroyed (especially the early B&W episodes), but I do know that MANY episodes aired on PBS during the mid-to-late 1980's; though nearly all of the PBS airings were from the mid-70's onward. 8:30am Sabrina the Teenage Witch 9:00am Rocky Road (Monday-Wednesday) This is a short-lived TV Sitcom produced for Superstation WTBS from 1985 to 1987. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wjrVKFnPoE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HNnQB5FMJV4 Dave's World (Thursday & Friday) 9:30am House Calls (Monday-Wednesday) Dave's World (Thursday & Friday) 10:00am The Partridge Family 10:30am Welcome Back, Kotter 11:00am Eight is Enough 12:00noon Head of the Class 12:30pm Silver Spoons 1:00pm Diff'rent Strokes 1:30pm Diff'rent Strokes 2:00pm Facts of Life 2:30pm Facts of Life 3:00pm 7th Heaven 4:00pm 7th Heaven 5:00pm Who's the Boss? 5:30pm Who's the Boss? 6:00pm Full House 6:30pm Full House 7:00pm One Day at a Time 7:30pm One Day at a Time 8:00pm Alice 8:30pm Alice (Monday-Thursday) Flo (a spin-off of Alice, starring Polly Holiday in the title role, Friday) 9:00pm The Golden Girls 9:30pm The Golden Girls (Monday-Thursday) The Golden Palace (Friday) 10:00pm Dallas (the classic 1978-91 run) 11:00pm Ryan's Hope 11:30pm Ryan's Hope Fun & Games Overnight: 12:00midnight Hollywood Squares (1971-1981 Syndicated Prime-Time run) 12:30am Match Game (1979-82 syndicated run) The 1973-79 CBS Daytime run and the 1975-79 Match Game PM run currently air on Buzzr. ![]() 1:00am The Price is Right (CBS Daytime; September 1975, November 1975-present) 2:00am Wheel of Fortune (1983-present Syndicated Prime Time run) 2:30am Wheel of Fortune (ditto) 3:00am Jeopardy!
