Here's just a couple of questions to make you think:

1. How can a character so arrogant and snobby, be so popular?

2. Frasier hasn't practiced psychology for years now, yet he seems to have an endless amount of money. Even when he was unemployed!(Trust me, in radio you don't make millions unless you're syndicated nationwide, which Frasier is not)

Some of the best TV characters are the ones who are flawed. Archie Bunker was loud, bigoted and stubborn, but that's what made him fascinating. The trick is for the actor or actress to make the character sympathetic, so that you can see the endearing person behind the facade.

As for question two, I would think that Frasier did fairly well in his practice before he moved to radio, so he probably has a huge investment portfolio.

Or, maybe his apartment is rent controlled...
