Like in the "Friendly Physician" when they went to the evil scientist's castle. It was SO good to get OFF the island for a change of scenery you know? One idea Sherwood never thought of is the castaways get "kidnapped" to a neighboring island where hijinks ensue & mishaps occur & the castaways are able to steal a canoe back to the island. But then Gilligan packs too many souvenirs & gifts from the Natives that the canoe sinks to the bottom of the lagoon!
