Default Favorite Anderson Child

Who is everyone's favorite Anderson child? Betty, Bud, or Kathy?

Hi:

My favorite Anderson child is Bud. Billy Gray could steal a scene like nobody's business and his comebacks always made me laugh!

He was so talented!

Next I like Kathy. She was delightful and precocious.

But I never liked Betty. She was too sophisticated and 'hard' for my taste. She had an air about her.

But Bud wes definitely my favorite.

Thanks,

Larkin

I really liked all of them, but my favorite is Betty I think. I always really wished I could be like her.

This is a tough call, 'cause I think there were two Bettys, two Buds and two Kathies. Beginning with Season 4, each of the kids seemed to morph into somewhat harder, more narcissistic versions of their earlier selves. I know this happens with teenagers, but all three at the same time? (There may have been a shift in FKB producers.)

Anyway, that said, in order for me:

Young Betty(beautiful, soft, tender)
Young Kathy(cute and devilish)
Young Bud(again, a cute, appealing goofball)
Older Bud(kinda selfish, still appealing)
Older Kathy(kinda whiney and, to be frank, not at all cute)
Older Betty(certainly still beautiful, but hard as Georgia pine)

Jim and Margaret didn't morph.

Hi, i'm new here. This is my first post. I always liked Betty the best. She was the typical big sister. Didn't she get married (in real life) toward the end of the series? That may have had something to do with her personality change.

Hi, Annie. Welcome to the group.

Actually, I think Elinor Donahue got a divorce toward the end of the series. Now there's a reason for some personality change!
