Default 1st Season Eliy May Definitely Carried Some Weight

Her rear end is darn right round in contrast to her thinner waist

There are a few scenes with her walking up the mansion stairs ...

Not complaining - just never noticed it before

and she is definitely thinner in later seasons

(or is it just me ?)

She sure exuded a sweet nature !

I also noticed in the first season that Elly rarely wore her trademark pigtails. She usually wore a single ponytail in the back.

Granny: "How much fer one o' them red diamonds?"
clerk: "Madam, those are rubies."
Granny: "OK ask her kin we buy one offa her."
clerk: " The ruby I am talking about is not a lady."
Granny: "Lissen, how she got them diamonds is her business. I'm just sayin' ask her kin we buy one from her."

my Comcast has FOLK tv (686) and runs the 1st season of the Hillbillies in Very Low Quality - lowest for sure - fuzzy with film lines at times, and to make things worse they alter the original format to fit the modern big screen and everyone looks shorter & fatter - including Ellie May even more so ...

Sad FOLK GREAT VIEWING IMPOSSIBLE

I've been getting Hapa (now they're full time FOLK TV) for a long time. Never watched it when it was the Korean Hapa channel but when they started partially showing old classic American shows that's when I tuned in. Until the past month it usually came in reasonably good, but in the past month or more (naturally since it went full time Folk TV, this happens to me) they are constantly pixilating, literally every 5 seconds. It's really a shame too, because now finally they're showing more shows I like but NOW I can't watch them due to the constant pixilation. Shows like the hour long color Red Skelton Show, I'd LOVE to see, but no, impossible now.

Well, my torture will soon end as now Fios tells me they're taking the station off the air. It lasted for wasted years and years as that unwatchable Hapa channel now that it's finally worthy (IF it came in that is) it's going off the air. Let's hear it again for our wonderful cable companies!

Smile Speaking Of Elly's Plus' & Minus'

OH, as for Elly, you know she had had a baby shortly before Bev. Hillbillies started so perhaps she was still carrying some baby making bulge.

But Elly, like a lot of girls like her, was always big on top but very flat on the bottom. Then there's the opposite type, flat on top but WOWZERS that bottom! She was also too wide in the hips for me.

But no doubt, she had the sweetest face and smile. That makes up for a lot.
