Season 5 or 6- Other entrance door in Living room?

Ok I need your help. This may have been a dream, but I could have sworn in one of the episodes of Season 5 or Season 6, there was an episode that had Blair come in through a door on the right side of the fireplace (if you are looking at it). Joe was sitting by the fireplace, and Blair came in and you saw both doors in the picture, plus the door to the kitchen. I have scoured through the episodes again and cannot find it! It just seems to real to have dreamt up, but I have been watching them before bed every night so who knows! So I figured I would ask the experts. I am currently re-watching them again and I am on season 6 Christmas in the Big House. Thanks for any help!

I think 80's mentioned this and that it was the garage entrance, but for the life of me, I don't recall seeing it. Maybe it hasn't come up yet but i'm on season 7 now. And we did see the garage in "Tootie Drives", but no entrance from there into the house yet.

No no, Folfan1234 is right! There is a "second front door" on the "other side" of the fireplace down near the audience. Blair does come through it in one episode looking anxious over something. That's the first time it's used. I think it's also used AGAIN at least once as a front door, yes, in those EE seasons (I think the first time with Blair is season 5). Then after that, it becomes a garage door going into the garage, although in other episodes the garage seems to be to the side of the house at the BACK of the stage, to the right of the back patio doors.

80sSitcoms THANK YOU!! But what episode is it?! I can’t find and it’s driving me mad! And yes she came in like huffing and puffing! Ok well at least I’m not making up set designs in my head! Lol

Yes, I believe she is carrying books in her other hand. I'm afraid I don't know the exact episode, but be patient. If fellow poster "Christopher" sees this, HE will know immediately.

YES! NOW I remember because I had asked that same question and it was 80's who mentioned the garage entrance from that. You're right it IS a separate entrance because I even mentioned you could see some of "outside" when Blair walked in. I have to dig in my post history to find it and figure which episode it was.

YES!! It was really green out. I feel like Blair was wearing a blue blazer but I legit cannot find the episode. I would be indebted if you find your post cfr1970!

It was episode called "The Chain Letter"! LOL I found the post I made about this same entrance--Mystery solved!

Here's the post I made last month:

Today's episode "The Chain Letter", Blair walked in from outside through a second front door in the living room. It's at the front of the stage on the other side of the fireplace from the main door. The shot was shown directly in front of it so you can even see the outside when she walks in.

I never knew there was another door and it seems weird to have one there when there's the main door 2 feet away, plus all those patio doors in back of the set. This home sure had plenty of exits!

I know, right?? I LOVE that door!! It's so neat that it was rarely ever used as another entrance, and then, cfr, you watch---eventually it turns into a door to the garage! (Honest!)


So maybe it DOES turn into a garage later on?

Thank you!!! You see like a clip of it in “The rich aren’t different” in season 6. But that’s the last I’ve seen of it. I listen to let’s face the facts podcast and he’s almost on season five and David loves these details so I had to make sure. Thanks for your research!

Yes, you see greenery, and "exterior brick", I believe. But IIRC, she's not wearing a blazer, but a blouse and skirt; but you may be right!

But that entrance does change to a garage entrance later on? Do you know which season? Maybe after the fire, they built the garage there.
