Inspired by the "I need a song" topic... What are your favorite songs the girls sang?

(The titles may be incorrect)...

1. " Miami, You've Got Style" - Rose and Dorothy (w/Blanche and Sophia)

2. "Thank You For Being A Friend"- (Theme Song)

3. "What'll I Do"-Dorothy

4. "I Got You, Babe"-Dorothy and Sophia

5. "Thanks For The Medicare"-Sophia

6. "Gonna Stuff A Chicken" Rose and the Goldettes

7. "Mr. Sandman"-Rose, Blanche, and Dorothy

8. "Miami Is Nice, So I'll Say It Twice"-Rose and Dorothy

9. "Onward St. Olaf (Go Go Go)"-Rose

10. "Over There (The Yanks Are Coming)"- Rose and the Goldettes

Oh, could someone post the lyrics to "Miami, You've Got Style?" I REALLY wanna know the words all in know is up to the sands after miles or something like that.

The girls were always putting on a bit of song and dance! I loved it when they did that! Another great number was when they put on the play of Henny Penny for the kids! They did a fantastic job! My fave was Dorothy as Turkey Lurkey!

I like "Miami, You've Got Style", "I Got
You Babe", "Thanks For The Medicare", and
"Mr. Sandman". It's hard to choose just one!

Mr. sandman's my favorite. followed by I got You Babe, Thanks for the medicare, and the middle Miami song. It's usually lost inbetween "Miami is nice" and "Miami you've got style." But this is the Miami Beach one, it's to me the best song of the three, and it's where Rose says salami.

I always was sad that the writers and producers did not capitolize more on Bea Arthurs vocal stylings. The episode with What'll I Do in the Rusty Anchor really shows that Bea is more than just a extraordinary comedic actress but also a extraordinary musical talent.
