Another good episode!
I liked seeing how they rebuilt the place from Edna's Edibles to the hideous junk crap shop Over our Heads. ![]() Introduction to George Clooney...UGH!....Even his character is hateful. He gleefully laughs while telling a story how he ripped off a poor woman's burka in the Middle East and got deported. Violating a woman is funny to him?! Wow...What a total ass. And that head tick of his. It's so damn annoying and he does it in every single role he plays. I will have to just tune out of his scenes from now on. I just can't watch him and don't see his appeal at all. ![]() ![]() I also don't get why all the girls suddenly felt so close to this guy...almost like he was somehow their responsibility? It was so weird and made no sense. Jo was the only smart one about it until she got possessed herself and went to fetch him back to the store. UGH. It was all too contrived and his presence is just not needed here. Andy is enough. I felt so bad for Natalie having to cash in her plane ticket to Europe! I wanted her to go and have that adventure she so badly wanted and shame on Tootie for shooting it down just because she didn't want her to leave Peekskill. That's selfish! Boo Tootie! ![]() She redeemed herself when she got the rest of them to participate in the final nail hitting. LOL at Blair earlier hitting the nail so daintily with the hammer!...I like that they took turns taking a hit at it as a symbolic gesture of them all being partners. (George isn't a partner and had no business hitting it..and of course he breaks it which is good symbolism of him right there. )A really good episode so that makes 2 for 2 in season 7 so far!! ![]() ![]()

I liked the remodel of their living quarters.
The show is very different in tone at this point, and is going more purely for laughs. Linda Marsh and Margie Peters, the producers who were responsible for the show’s issue-oriented approach to comedy, dropped to creative consultants in the middle of season 6 and are gone starting with season 7 (they went off to produce Valerie Harper’s new sitcom). |

It made me cringe seeing the 4 girls laugh with him about that. It's actually fascinating to see what we thought was considered funny just 35 years ago. |

Ha ha ha i remember liking this episode too, and the scene with BLAIR hitting the hammer so delicately was hilarious! ![]() As for GEORGE: i found him so goofy i had to laugh! He had the 'puppy' look on his face, and the girls just fell for it! (even MRS G lol) ![]() And yes, i remember now how NAT had to give her ticket away to keep 'Over our head' on business: very sad.... (i guess the writers wanted to keep her)Keep up with the good work cfr1970!

True. Natalie was kind of evil to do that with Tootie's money so we can just say it was her karma. I still felt badly she didn't get to do her trip though. She was so excited about it.
